Ghanaian President, Akufo-Addo has given the go-ahead for the Ghana Premier League to resume on Friday, October 30, 2020.
According to him, teams would start training and stadia would take only 25% of their capacities on match days.
He made the announcement in the 17th Coronavirus update on September 20, 2020.
While speaking from the Flagstaff House in Accra, Akufo-Addo indicated that the national teams can begin their respective training in earnest in anticipation of their international participation.
He added that all national team players who are capped must undergo constant testing throughout the training sessions so as to eliminate their chances of getting infected.
The President added that after several discussions with the board of the Ghana Premier League, it has been decided that the league can resume.
