The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Wednesday evening revealed 201 new COVID-19 cases and one death was recorded September 30.
The cases were recorded across 13 states of the federation with Lagos having the highest number, 77, followed by Cross Rivers state, 37, and Plateau with 25.
The remaining states includes: FCT-13, Kaduna-12, Ogun-12, Adamawa-8, Taraba-7, Imo-4, Kwara-2, Osun-2, Abia-1 and Oyo-1
The West African country has now recorded a total of 58,848 confirmed cases, 50,358 discharges and 1,112 deaths. With 509,555 samples tested.
NCDC further revealed that the discharges made for the day includes 257 community recoveries in Imo State and 85 homecare discharges in Delta State managed in line with guidelines.
