HARRY, MEGHAN AND BABY ARCHIE TO VISIT SOUTHERN AFRICA

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex  have announced  that they will tour Southern Africa with their new baby in Autumn

Baby Archie will make his first overseas appearance this fall when parents Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, take him on an official visit to South Africa.

The couple’s son Archie, who was born in May, will be around five months old when they begin their trip.

As well as travelling to South Africa, the duke will carry out solo visits to Malawi, Angola and Botswana, where his HIV support charity is based.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s long-rumored royal tour of Africa is  happening this fall. A released via instagram by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex reads;

“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are excited to announce that they have been asked to carry out a tour to Southern Africa this autumn,” the SussexRoyal Instagram revealed.

“The Foreign and Commonwealth Office have requested a visit to South Africa 🇿🇦 as well as The Duke carrying out visits to Malawi 🇲🇼 and Angola 🇦🇴. His Royal Highness will also do a short working visit to Botswana 🇧🇼 on route to the other countries. The Duke and Duchess are really looking forward to meeting so many of you on the ground and continuing to raise awareness of the high impact work local communities are doing across the commonwealth and beyond. This will be their first official tour as a family!”

Earlier this year it was reported that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, along with baby Archie, would be settling abroad to do charity work, with their main bases being locations in Africa.

Meghan and Harry had a romantic getaway in Botswana while they were dating and both have remarked on it being a special place for them.

Harry and his brother Prince William have traveled throughout Africa and both are involved in efforts to protect wildlife there. Harry is also patron to a charity helping children in Lesotho.
