Nigerian actress Kemi Lala Akindoju has urged young people in Nigeria to do more to fight for the country.
She said it would be prudent for the youth to take elections and holding leaders accountable as seriously as they take the Big Brother Naija reality show.
Lala, in a tweet, said she wished they channeled the same enthusiasm towards registration and voting processes across the country.
She wrote: “I still wish we will take our elections and holding our leaders accountable as seriously and passionately as we take big brother.
“I wish young people will give the same energy to register to vote when it is time.
“We have to do more to fight for our country.”
