Just In: Babajide Sanwo-Olu to Head APC National Campaign Council for Ondo State Election

As the All Progressive Congress (APC) party in Nigeria seeks to ensure total victory at the Ondo State 2020 Gubernatorial election scheduled to come up in October.

The party has appointed Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State to lead the APC National Campaign Council for the Ondo State Governorship election.

The council, which consists of 103 other eminent and distinguished party leaders is carefully assembled to show APC’s seriousness in ensuring Gov. Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo state gets re-elected into office.

While reacting to his appointment, Sanwo-Olu tweeted: “As the campaign council settles down to deliver on its mandate, I give my strong commitment to ensure the task ahead of the council is faithfully executed and victory will be certain.”

APC’s Rotimi Akeredolu will be contesting against Eyitayo Jegede of the People’s Democratic Party and his Deputy, Agboola Ajayi who recently crossed to the Zenith Labour Party to pursue his Governorship ambition.
