The new development is seen to be as a result of the new unit created by the Inspector-General of Police on Tuesday, Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT), to replace the scrapped SARS unit of the Nigeria Police Force.

The online protesters are seen pointing to various champions of the #ENDSARS campaign to take leadership of the proposed political party, part of which is a Segun Awosanya, better known as ‘Segalink’, a human rights activist.

A certain Mazi Chiemena Samuel called him out and said “Sir you gave us your word that you are not interested in any political office for reasons best known to you, but at this time Nigeria youths have no capable hands to fix the mess our ancestors created, the youths entrust in you for the 2023”
