Nigerians Are Really Suffering as They Celebrate Independence Day – Yul Edochie

Nigerian actor Yul Edochie has taken to social media to downplay the celebration of Nigeria’s 60th Independence anniversary.

The country marks its independence on October 1, 2020, and Yul as well as others are using the opportunity to share their grievances.

He took to his Twitter page in the early hours of October 1 to lament the problems facing the nation.

Yul Edocie stated that he cannot wish anybody a happy independence especially because most people are not happy.

The actor quizzed Nigerians on the purpose of the grand celebration this year.

He also listed some of the challenges facing the country such as fuel price increase, electricity tariff hike, bad roads and many others.

I cannot wish anyone a happy independence when my people are not happy.
What are we celebrating?
Fuel price increase? Electricity tariff hike? Hardship? Bad roads? Killings everywhere?
Jobless youths turned beggars?
The list is endless.
Speak the truth.
Nigerians are suffering.
