Scores feared dead following a tragic road accident in Dundori, Nakuru County on Thursday afternoon after a truck lost control and crushed into roadside traders.
The transit good which was headed to Nakuru from Nyahururu was speeding before it lost control.
Witness statements show that the truck hit electricity pole before it rammed into parked vehicles and roadside small-scale traders.
Eyewitnesses further say that more the lorry rammed into more than 10 cars, even as police have cordoned off the scene to rescue victims and clear the wreckage.
The accident caused a massive blackout in areas around Dundori, forcing Kenya Power to switch off power to avoid breakout of fires.
