Manchester United forward, Marcus Rashford has reacted to the death of a 6-year-old boy who tragically died following a collision in Hulme, last month.
The family of the six-year-old, identified as Kidus Woodwosen, while paying tribute to him stated that he was always smiling and loved Marcus Rashford.
“He liked Manchester United and his favourite player was Marcus Rashford. This lively, bubbly young boy had his whole life to look forward to and dreamed of being a policeman when he grew up.
Marcus Rashford upon seeing the tribute reacted on his Twitter handle with love and care by tweeting “I’ve got a big game tomorrow but I just wanted to take a second to acknowledge this. My heart hurts for Kidus’s family and I want them to know that I will be in touch. I’m so sorry for your loss”
Rashford is widely known as a caring individual off the pitch especially with his compassion and support for kids in the country.
Manchester united will be facing Spanish side, Sevilla FC in the Europa League semi final tomorrow, 8pm WAT.
