Spanish side, Sevilla FC have won their record sixth UEFA Europa League competition after beating Serie A’s Inter Milan 3:2 on Friday night, August 21.
Prolific striker, Lukaku, had put Inter ahead in the fifth minute of the match through a spot kick before De Jong’s first half brace put Sevilla in the lead but Diego Godin leveled up the scoreline for Inter at the 36th minute to end the first half 2:2
Later in the second half, at the 74th minute, Diego Carlos’ spectacular overhead kick got deflected in by Romelu Lukaku, and that was all that’s needed to seal the win for Sevilla.
Sevilla won the Europa league in 2006, 2007, 2014, 2015, 2016 and have done it again in 2020.
