Multinational beverage corporation, Coca-Cola company has promised to support victims of the violence that erupted as a result of hoodlums hijacking the peaceful ENDSARS protests in Nigeria.
The company, in a press release stated: “We’re in this together, the events of the past few days have scarred us all. We are deeply saddened by the needless loss of lives during the peaceful #ENDSARS protests. Our hearts go out to the families of the fallen and injured.
“Coca-Cola Nigeria, along with our bottling partners, Nigerian Bottling Company Ltd, are committed to making a difference in our communities, as such we have made a donation of N20 million to our NGO partner, Whitefield Foundation, to help defray the medical bills of victims in hospitals.
The company encouraged those that need the support, including the families of the victims and the hospitals caring for them to reach out to the NGO partner, Whitefield on Social Media.
